I Saw You Today
I saw you today,
And my heart felt you today.
As you smiled,
your cheeks grew so wide,
Why was I already thinking of you as my bride?
Side walks turned into warm golden sand, City road rage sounded like singing birds
And a rickshaw ride was our slow 1950 convertible cruise.
With you... London city felt like the sunny sea side. when I'm with you I felt like I had nothing to loose.
As if time had stopped I couldn't get my eyes of you.
Like a work of art I can analyse you for hours.
And admire you as you bloom like a flower.
How on earth did you gain this power?
For in my brain there was no flaw,
That you were the one that's made me fall-
Because I saw you today...
And that's all I can remember...
A bunch of pictures and snippets of us together. little memories and thoughts of you, A simple interaction between us two,
I can no longer undo.
Now that I know you, please don't run away,
Because ever since then I’m yet to think of a brighter day.
