Poetry From My Soul To Your Heart
This page takes you on my journey as a Poet and a Spoken Word Artist.
Solomon is known as a romantic poet in his own right, inspired by love in all spectrums with heavy focus on the importance of men's vulnerability.
He first found poetry in 2015 and officially began solidifying his talent in the poetry scene in 2023 after a career ending injury as a speed skater. Since then, he has featured in 12 different poetry events and headlined thrice with his first corporate feature at AWIN media company in 2024. Half way through his artistic journey this year, 2024, He became a Sofar Sounds spoken word performing act, with 4 shows under his belt thus far. Most recently he was a contestant in Dare to Speak’s Poetry Slam and put up for an award as “Best Spoken Word New Comer” under the WordPlayandFlow platform. Solomon is now working on releasing his first EP alongside producing his first theatre script.
As a poet his dedication to the craft has marked him “A Master-Piece trying to Master Peace” forever reminding his audiences of the imperfections of being a human, a man, a lover and the constant grace needed to accept and love self and their surroundings. Solomon has observed that the concept of Love as an emotion gets lost through time - lost as life does what it does. He dedicates his craft to make audiences/listeners feel joy, thrive and relive moments of love, ones that life might have masked along turmoil making sure to always leave a receiver with a reminder that love, is never lost.
My Poetry Introduction
Poetry has always been dear to my heart. I was first introduced to Poetry in my early years as a teen. Shakespeare (Sonnets) and William Blake were Poets I studied for GCSES (A British exam system). And I fell in love. I started to learn and understand the English Language through Poetry and shared my poetry from young on social media. Coming to the UK at 8 years of age not understanding a single word of English. short
poetry and short literacy helped me speak and take
understanding to the beautiful language
as I grew.
After many years of being away from
writing and poetry I found it again in 2023
where I fell over heels for again and now
can't go a single day without spreading
love and poetry and the beauty of words.
Hoping I can reach and make anyone feel
like I once did as a child and adult.
